Books Received:

I just received a signed copy of Something Secret This Way Comes by Sierra Dean. Thanks so much to the author for sending it to me, and to A Buckeye Girl Reads for hosting the giveaway. This book looks awesome! :)

Currently Reading:
The Stand by Stephen King - This devil dude is FREAKY! Also, there are totally devil-dude followers in the good-people camp. I'm worried for the good people. They're all just trying to be so nice -- I'm not sure they can handle devil-dude followers.

Corpalism by Arun Ellis - Good twists! It's all kind of rushed, though. Definite pacing issues, but I'm enjoying the story!

Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry - Kind of getting a better understanding of the characters. I don't hate Echo's family as much as I did before. And while I'm liking the developing relationship, I think some of it is a little forced. What is it about Echo that makes Noah all the sudden turn into a nice guy? Maybe I'm cynical, but even attraction can't fix a bad attitude that doesn't want to be fixed.

The Atlantis Complex by Eoin Colfer -- Colfer, what did you do to my Artemis?! He's crazy! I mean, being a teenage-criminal mastermind-genius-fairy finder-world saver has got to be tough, don't get me wrong. But what's with the sudden extreme OCD and superstitious attitude? :( I hope he gets better.

Nightwalker by Heather Graham - It relies a bit too heavily on stereotypes, but I'm liking this. Lots of points in its favor. The audiobook has two narrators, which I always like. And all these people are talking to ghosts to solve mysteries and stuff! Definitely love a supernatural element to go along with my mysteries.
